Lagos State Governor urges residents to perform their civic responsibilities

Residents of Lagos have been urged to perform their civic responsibilities, by paying their taxes promptly for government to deliver their basic needs and ensure good governance.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who stated this when the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, led by its President and Chairman in Council, Olajumoke Symplis paid him a courtesy call at the Lagos House, Ikeja. pledged that his government will in return ensure probity and equity for residents to feel the socio-economic impact of governance.
While pledging support for the upcoming Conference of the Institute, Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that Lagos will be a preffered destination of choice for Conferences and seminars.
Earlier, the President/Chairman in Council of CITN, Olajumoke Symplis called for partnership between the state government and the Institute on Taxation and Fiscal Policies.
