LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT CHARGES PUBLIC SERVANTS

Lagos State Public Servants have been charged to embrace regular recreational activities to be able to deliver effective and quality Service delivery to the people.
President, Lagos State Public Service Club, 1979, Samuel Ajenifuja who stated this today at a Press Briefing as part of
activities commemorating the 40th Anniversary celebration of the club, also urged them to key into the Health Insurance Scheme of the state government to promote their wellness.
Ajenifuja commended the first Executive Governor of the State, Lateef Jakande for the vision of establishing the club and support from successive governments, as well as the contribution of the Patron, Head Of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola .
While giving a schedule of events outlined for the celebration, Chairman of the Anniversary Planning Committee, Oluyomi Amoye said members and associate members will be paying a visit to the founder of the club, the first Civilian Governor of Lagos State, Lateef Jakande, while Mosque and Church services, as well as sports and health check will take place for the benefit of members and invited guests.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will be the Special Guest of Honour at the Award Presentation and Gala Night on Friday 15th November at the club premises.
The Lagos State Public service club was established in 1979, to serve as a platform for social and sporting activities among public officials in the State and Associate members.
