LTR ORGANISES TRAINING FOR OAPs

The Acting General Manager, Lagos Traffic Radio, Tayo Akanle has stressed the need for training and re-training as they are essential components for improvement.

Mr Akanle gave this remarks at the one-day in-house training programme for On-Air Personalities (OAP) of the station today at the conference room.

He stated that capacity building will enhance quality delivery of service needed especially for a state like Lagos with its teeming population.

Topics listed for the programme which include, “Modern Trends in Presentation: The Broadcasters Call; Common Infringements on the Broadcast Code; Use and Abuse of Commercial Broadcast – Political Campaigns, the Regulators Position, Effective Use of Yoruba Language in Broadcasting and Work Ethics and Organisational Productivity were deliberated chosen to further improve their deliverables as they engage their listeners.

The Acting General Manager appealed to them to fully take advantage of the training by paying attention, participate and receptive throughout the duration of the training.
